My office number. Oh yeah it's in a basement and doesn't have windows. At least it keeps me productive.

May 28th - The Weather Today

It's a hot one in Toronto today. A mix of blue skies, hazy clouds, and a temperature that feels like 39 degrees makes for one sticky day. Glad I'm at home and not at school today - if u need to know why I'd rather not be at school just ask or use your imagination

May 27 - Something Sweet

Sweet tooth on a student budget means McFlurries instead of DQ Blizzards. If only they offered cookie dough life would be perfect. A combination of Oreo and Smarties is a pretty good second though.

May 25 - Unusual

Bought these most unusual gerbera daisies today. So unique and beautiful I just had to buy it.

May 24 - Something New

I have a thing for owls. Some may even call it an obsession. I have a lot of owl things pinned on one of my pinterest boards. There's a growing collection of owl decorations for my future home. But this shirt is the first piece of clothing with an owl on it. To say I'm excited is an understatement. As an added bonus it was on sale!

May 23 - Technology

Where would I be without my little net book? This little gem has been quite the sidekick this year. Traveling to school was just a little bit easier because of her size and weight. Thanks not not crashing (knock on wood) and always working when I needed you. You're the best!

May 22nd - Pink

Pink blanket made by my grandma. I hope to make something like this one day for my kids and grand kids.

May 21 - Where I Stand

I took today's photo challenge to literally mean where I stand, though I now realize that it could also reflect where I stand on an issue. In any case today my cat Tyson chose to stand right under my feet while I hung my laundry out to dry - he likes helping :)

May 19th - a favorite place

The Scarborough Bluffs is one of my favorite places in the world. It is a beautiful place and is where the love of my life asked me to marry him. It will forever be one of my favorite places.

May 15th - Love

Love can be interpreted many different ways. Since today was my birthday, love took the form of a family dinner made by my fiancé which was topped off with a cookies and cream ice cream cake. I loved the way it tasted!

May 14th - Grass

From my backyard. Dedicated to my Grandfather because gardening was his favorite activity.

Mothers day is always bitter sweet for me. I have so many special women in my life, but sadly not my own mother anymore. Here's a picture of a flower I brought my mom today

May 12 - Something Makes Me Happy

I spent the day with my family to celebrate a very special persons birthday. Spring food, cold drinks and good laughs were the perfect way to celebrate and kick off summer. Although I could have picked any number of things for today's picture I chose dessert. Strawberry shortcake! Yum yum yum! It certainly put a smile on my face.

May 9th - Something I do every day

I read something every single day. Sometimes it's the newspaper or a magazine or something for school, but everyday I read something.

May 8th - A Smell I Adore

This was a hard one... So many wonderful smells to choose from. Tide was a close second!

I love the smell of this lemon zest candle. It gives me the boost I sometimes need to get through a big essay or tight deadline.
