Knitting, (knitting instructions), a black t-shirt, and my E-reader (currently reading Skinny Bitch) all in a lululemon bag. It's nothing too exciting but it's what I have in my bag right now.

June 16 - Out and About

Today was a busy Saturday. I went over to my grandparents house to help clean and sort things. Then I headed over to my brother and sister-in-laws house to celebrate his birthday. Nothing like a Saturday fam-jam!

June 15 - Yellow

I actually had a hard time finding something yellow to photograph. Finally found this yellow flower in the bathroom at my in-laws place.

June 13 - Art

Found this art sculpture on campus. It's been in its present location for over 40 years from what I read. York university has some really interesting art sculptures around campus. There is also a student art gallery on campus which showcases the art of students in the fine arts program. Annnnddd it's free!

June 12- From a Low Angle

Not my cat, but still a cutie. Meet Storm. His hobbies include keeping the neighborhood safe, eating birds and bringing mice home. From a low angle he is quite handsome.

June 11 - Door

This is the most interesting door at my house. It's the door to our pop-up trailer. Once the whole thing is set up the door is much closer to a normal size.

June 10 - Best Bit Of My Weekend

My cottage weekend was so amazing. To pick just one photo was certainly a challenge. This was taken at the toga party. I can't take photo credit for this since I didn't get a group shot on my phone. I always give credit where it is due, so thanks Kat.

June 9 - My View Today

June 8 - 6 O'Clock

This one's a little late because I was away at the most amazing cottage this weekend and didn't have access to the internet. I was still on the photoaday challenge and the result of all that (not so hard) work is here for you to enjoy!

This picture was taken around 6pm after getting to the cottage Friday evening. Sour keys were our appetizers before dinner. Delish!

June 7 - Drink

Today I felt like trying out a new photo app I recently got. Since I was planning to make a smoothie this morning it seemed like a good opportunity to try the app out because it would let me know the ingredients that make my drink. Brilliant!

My smoothie recepie:

1/2 scoop smoothie mix
1 cup orange juice
2 large strawberries
10-ish blackberries

Mix well in a blender and enjoy!

June 6 - Hat

A cat with a hat would have been great, but Tyson does not like things on his head. Thus, I present to you a teddy bear wearing a rain hat. Not something you see everyday.

June 5 - A Sign

Found this beauty of a sign at the subway entrance today. It explains their commitment to upholding the Ontario Human Rights Code. As a disability scholar and advocate I applause this. If only all of the subway stops were accessible this sign would have true meaning.

June 4 - Close Up

A close up of my neoprene lunch bag. It's the only thing worth photographing in my very dull office.

June 3 - On My Plate

Asian chicken lettuce wraps. It was a great after workout dinner. I gave my dad a couple and he graciously said I could make them again anytime.

June 2 - Empty

Empty cup after a delicious caramel latte. It was the perfect after lunch drink on this cold and rainy day.

June 1 - Morning

It's a rainy and cold morning today, which means Tyson is taking the opportunity to cuddle on my bed right now. Isn't he cute? Good thing he doesn't know he's going to the vet in 15 minutes or he would be hiding somewhere never to be found again.

*Update* 

Tyson got a clean bill of health from the vet!  I can't say that he had a good time or that he behaved because he made sounds that I have never heard before and spit at the vet's assistant. But, he did survive and has forgiven me for ruining his day.
